Thank you for choosing to use our application. We take your privacy very seriously and will do our best to protect the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information. Please read the following carefully.
Email and Device Information: When you register or log in to an account, we may collect your email address and device information (such as a device identifier). This information is used for identity verification, account management, and providing personalized services.
Learning Activity: We may collect and record your learning activity, including but not limited to learning progress, study duration, and study content. This information is used to help save your learning records, provide personalized learning recommendations, and perform statistical analysis.
Data Storage: The application you use and its data are stored within mainland China. The application does not connect to the international internet; the data and application comply with, and are protected by, the laws of China.
Study Group Data Management: When you join a study group or account created by a company, training institution, or other organization, the administrator or group manager has the right to download your learning data, email address, and App ID for management and statistical purposes. This data collection only takes effect when you voluntarily join such a group or account, and by joining you are deemed to have consented to providing this information. If you do not wish to provide this information, you may simply leave the group or account; after leaving, your related information will no longer be accessible to or downloadable by that group or its administrator.
Social and Group Content: The in-app "Groups" feature allows you to create or join study groups and to publicly post recruitment information (including group name, description, avatar, and recruitment content) that is visible to all logged-in users. Please do not include illegal, infringing, abusive, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content in a group's name, description, avatar, or recruitment information; we reserve the right to remove such content or restrict/suspend the related account when necessary (see also Section 7, "User Reporting and Content Management").
Friends ("Study Buddies") and Blocking: The App provides a "Study Buddy" matching feature to help you find study partners and view each other's learning statistics. You may block any user you no longer wish to interact with at any time; once blocked, that user can no longer send you invitations, and their recruitment posts will no longer be shown to you.
Leaderboards: To motivate learning, the App publicly displays certain learning data (such as study duration, vocabulary count, ranked tier/score, etc.) along with your nickname and avatar on leaderboard pages, allowing other users to view and compare.
Real-time Battles (PK): The App provides a vocabulary battle feature in which the system randomly matches you with other online users (or a computer) for real-time quiz battles. These battles do not involve free-form text chat or voice calls — only quiz results, ranked tier/score, and coin changes are involved.
Our application requests the following permissions:
No Sharing with Third Parties: We do not share your personal information with any third party, except with your explicit consent or as required by law. Your personal information will only be used to provide our services and improve the user experience.
We take strict security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Our servers are located in China, and we employ appropriate technical measures to protect the security of your information.
Our application is not directed at children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please use our application only under the guidance of a parent or guardian.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect our business needs and legal requirements. The updated Privacy Policy will take effect within our application immediately upon the update date. We recommend that you review this page periodically to stay informed of any changes to our Privacy Policy.
If you encounter illegal, infringing, abusive, sexually explicit, spam, or otherwise objectionable user-generated content within the App (such as group recruitment posts, or a group's name/description/avatar), you can use the in-app "Report" feature to notify us, and we will review and address it as soon as possible. You may also block other users you no longer wish to interact with at any time; after blocking, content posted by that user will no longer be shown to you. We reserve the right to remove related content, restrict features, or suspend/terminate the related account upon receiving a report or upon discovering a violation ourselves.
